PASSION: growing mindful leaders

Mindful Erasmus+ Leaders Training Course took place in Floda, Sweden in October 2022 and gathered 36 group leaders to boost their leadership skills with the tools of non formal education and mindfulness.
This training course aimed to equip young leaders with the necessary tools and skills to improve the quality of Youth Exchange programme starting by own self-development. We offered group leaders who already gained different experiences in the previous YE's to create appropriate models aimed at involving youngsters to initiate work and be proactive in their communities by themselves. This objective was fulfilled by taking the youth leaders back to their first steps and facilitate their self-development with innovative tools.
This training course set the notions of improving YE quality by stimulating young leaders’ spirit of initiative, creativity, and entrepreneurship. These leaders were trained on improving strategies of motivating youngsters, and with a mindful approach, come up with individualistic ways and methods that can be implemented in future projects. Organizers provided support for various forms of learning to participate and promote good cooperation in the youth field in Europe. The project had a clear and effective impact on the partner organisations who were involved in the project. This programme with its participating network of organizations developed skills and knowledge of participants from different countries and cultures, open their mind and discuss issues that really affect their youth work.
